Born in Rossendale 1954. studied art at Accrington, Liverpool and Sheffield. Worked in education, community and therapeutic arts. Exhibited mainly in the Northwest.

I have been drawing and painting as a serious concern for over forty years. For me drawing isn’t entertainment, it’s a serious attempt to engage with the world, with ideas, with perception and with imagination. I have been a member of the Globe arts studios in Bacup for several years and I’m proud to share the space there with some wonderful talents.
