GROUP STUDIOS IN THE ROSSENDALE VALLEY

Valley Artists/Clarke Holme Studios. In 2001 Globe Arts split into two when Globe Mill was vacated. One group moved here and took on their new name. Individual studios are arranged around a communal exhibition space, the Clarke Holme Gallery. There are 12 professional artists working at the studios, and 2 associate members. Drawing – Caroline Johnson.

Veterans In Communities. The VIC art group was started in 2011 by one of its core members Darren Horsnell. Darren’s own experience of using art for its therapeutic benefits at Combat Stress found it not only helped with his own mental well being but others could also benefit from it as a means to relieve stress, anxiety and social isolation.
