I have drawn and painted from very young, and have continued to do so even while working full-time. It’s helped me a lot in many ways throughout my life. I am retired so a large part of my life is now dedicated to my Art.
I did an Art Foundation at Hastings College which has continued to inspire me. I was a full time member of Valley Artists Studios until recently. I am now an associate member.
I work mainly in oils at the moment. Water colour is another favourite although I do use other mediums. I try to interpret what I see and how I feel about our civilisation. The human condition, the environment, Technology, Politics, Religions, Composition, Colour, patterns, are all subjects I try to confront with my work.
